As a department, we aim to contribute to our students reaching their career goals with elective courses that will best prepare them for the job that suits their career plans. For this purpose, students take basic courses such as mathematics, economics, communication, law and sociology in the first year, and are introduced to the concepts of marketing, finance, accounting, statistics, human resources management, investment analysis and production management in the following periods. Starting from the third year, they take elective courses in the fields they want to specialize in, thus equipping them to propose solutions to problems they may encounter in real life. In addition, we aim to provide students with experiences that will establish a relationship between what they learned through the internship course, which is compulsory in the third year, and real life.

In order for our students to be able to use the theoretical education they have received, especially in the field of finance, in daily life, BİSLAP (Borsa Exchange Education and Finance Simulation Laboratory) with 20 computers, donated by Borsa Istanbul, as well as 2 computer laboratories with 100 computers, have been put at the service of our students to contribute to their development.

Various trainings and events are organized through our Career Center and Continuing Education Center (NUSEM) within our university to help our students plan their careers after graduation. In addition, there are many student clubs and societies for education, health, sports, social, scientific and cultural purposes to meet the social needs of our students such as rest and leisure. Outdoor tennis courts, basketball court and Olympic size swimming pool also serve our students so that they can do sports in their spare time.

Graduates of our department, which has a history of 33 years, can plan their careers in a wide range of areas, from banking to auditing, from human resources to finance, from consultancy to marketing. National companies such as Halkbank, Akbank, Arçelik, Ford Otosan, Garanti BBVA, Türkiye İş Bankası, Turkcell, THY, Türk Telekom, Yapı Kredi, as well as Turkish Statistical Institute, Treasury, DPT, various ministries, Capital Markets Board, Chambers of Industry and Commerce. Various public institutions and organizations are among the organizations where our graduates have successfully worked. Among our students with an entrepreneurial spirit, we also have graduates who run their own businesses and create employment. In addition, our graduates can continue their careers academically at universities or in the private sector as professionals who are experts in their fields. Many graduates of our department have trained academics working both in our own department and at different universities. Thanks to the diploma supplement given to ensure that our graduates' academic qualifications and skills are better understood by both higher education institutions and employers, our graduates' access to job and education opportunities both at home and abroad has been facilitated.
