Strengths:
Six academicians who have completed the Ph.D. Program in Elementary Teacher Education, which is a very new program in Turkey, are in charge of the department.
Teacher candidates get the theoretical and practical knowledge they need throughout their learning.
Theoretical knowledge given to prospective teachers is clearly shown in their application and they are prepared in the most qualified and competent way in their professional life.
To be able to benefit from any kind of technological infrastructure in the course of teaching given in the department and to acquire skills to use them.
To access any kind of scientific resource (internet access, libraries, etc.) needed in the course of education given in the department of the department.
Weak Sides:
The fact that there is no practice school for faculty-affiliated and prospective classroom teacher candidates to practice.
Opportunities:
Being more lucky and successful, compared to other professions (teaching areas), both in having a very holy profession in terms of professional dignity and in starting a career.
Considering the inadequacy of the faculty member of the department, it is possible to become a member of the faculty in the future by entering and continuing to graduate education programs as well as obtaining research assignments.
Ability to work in special schools by educating as a well-equipped teacher by using self-raising opportunities offered professionally along with qualified teaching in the field of the department of education.
