Goals of Department

Envıromental Engineering 

• To offer an undergraduate program which is endowed with theoretical and practical information in order to solve problems concerning environmental engineering by using main principles of basic sciences and engineering sciences.
  To train engineers who can design, project and apply environmental systems, engineering structures and processes in accordance with the aims of environmental engineering.
  To train graduates who can take part in an interdisciplinary team work in the light of scientific and technological developments and who have inquisitive and questioning aspects.
  To train engineers who have ability to observe, understand and solve environmental problems both in the world and in country in a professional perspective in accordance with professional and social and ethic responsibility.
  To train graduates who can carry out experimental studies related to his field; who can interpret the data he obtained and who can express himself/herself
