1. The low number of academic and administrative personnel
2. The fact that there are deficiencies of technical infrastructure such as classrooms and laboratories
3. Insufficient economic support to participate in meetings abroad
4. The fact that performance evaluation has been fulfilled both on individual basis and department basis
5. The fact that adequate income of circulating capital cannot be produced
6. The fact that social facilities of both the city and university are limited
7. The fact that the number of research assistant is insufficient
8. Imbalances in distribution of academic staff according to divisions of department
 


Opportunities

4. The fact that there are some difficulties which arise from competition in creating financial means from European higher education fields
5. The difficulty in providing and employing researcher personnel
6. Low wages paid to academic personnel
7. The fact that traditional educational techniques decrease the quality of education
8. The fact that there are some difficulties in balancing between competitive research and course load
9. The fact that the people and the local administrations of Niğde do not show necessary interest to University
