Dr. Hasan Uslu continued his speech by saying, “First of all, I commemorate our citizens who lost their lives in this disaster and all other disasters that occurred in our country throughout the historical process. From the first moment of the earthquake, our university created a crisis desk and carried out aid and support services in the earthquake region in a coordinated manner. In this context, six trucks of in-kind aid materials were delivered to Kahramanmaraş province and Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, which was paired with our University by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), without any problems. In addition, all our campuses, guesthouses and student dormitories on our campus have been opened to our earthquake-affected guests and residents of our city for accommodation purposes; The parking areas within our campus are used as safe gathering areas. During the process, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University was visited by the senior management of our University and a coordination meeting was held with the relevant University management regarding support and assistance services.
