The aim of Basic English Program is to offer the students a quality education that will enable them to reach the level of competence in language much needed in the professional and academic life and in different environments where the related language is the tool of communication and to give the knowledge, skills and strategies that will help them learn the language independently  by carrying out the English Preparation Program for the departments with a English Preparation requirement according to the language policies determined by our university.

Upon successful completion of the English Preparation Program offered by the Department of Basic English, the students will be able to follow the foreign language books and articles during their studies with their foreign language knowledge and skills and thus become much more successful in their academic life. More importantly, the students will be able to enhance their professional qualities by following technological and scientific developments related to their field of study from all around the world. In this way, it will be possible for our students to compete with graduates of national and international universities with their qualities like foreign language and professional equipment.  The students will also be able to benefit from the ERASMUS program more easily thanks to their foreign language and will have a chance to observe different cultures and different ways of thinking.
