"TURK-COSE 2023: V. International Turkic World Science and Engineering Congress" was hosted by Kyrgyzstan-Turkish Manas University in cooperation with our University and Azerbaijan Technical University.
The congress, which lasted for three days at Kyrgyzstan-Turkish Manas University Kasım Tınıstanov Conference Hall with a total of 11 parallel sessions, was held as a hybrid, face-to-face and online.
Rector Uslu spoke at the Opening Ceremony of the Congress
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the congress, Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Uslu said, "Greetings from Türkiye to our ancestral lands Kyrgyzstan. Welcome to TURK-COSE 2023, the International Turkic World Science and Engineering Congress, which we are organizing for the fifth time this year." Stating that Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, the shining star of Anatolia with more than 30 years of history, is in cooperation with universities from different countries, especially in the context of internationalization vision, Rector Uslu continued his words as follows: "In this context, our cooperation with the precious universities and higher education institutions of the Turkic World is one of the most important ones. For example, this year we organized the tenth International Symposium on Turkic World Studies in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan, together with the Kazakh National University of Girls Pedagogy and Baku Eurasia University. This congress, which is one of the most prestigious scientific events of Türkiye and the Turkic World in the field of social sciences, will reach a much better point in the coming years with new stakeholders from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and will make stronger contributions to the unity of the Turkic World through scientific communication."
Rector Uslu concluded his speech as follows: "With all these feelings and thoughts, I would like to express my gratitude to the Rector of Kyrgyzstan-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Acting Rector Dr. Baktıgül Kalambekova, Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University Prof. Dr. Vilayet Memmedoğlu Veliyevve, Congress Co-Chairs, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of our University Prof. Dr. Murat Barut, Prof. Dr. Ercan Çelik from Kyrgyzstan-Turkish Manas University and Prof. Dr. Amdulla Mehrabov from Azerbaijan Technical University, I would like to thank the scientists, researchers and everyone who contributed to the organization of the symposium and wish them success."
Our Dean of the Faculty of Engineering wishes that our Turkic and Heart Geography will come together
One of the Co-Chairs of the TURK-COSE 2023 Congress which is an activity of Research and Application Center on Culture and Education of Kazakhstan of our University, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of our University and Director of the aforementioned Center Prof. Dr. Murat Barut also made a speech at the ceremony. In his speech, Prof. Barut started his words by wishing that the congress would be uniting the Turkic and Heart Geography around the blessed memories of Issyk-Kul Lake. Barut also wished that all the beauties of peace, brotherhood and friendship spread all over the world with the latest developments in science and engineering at the foot of the God Mountains. Finally, Barut wished that TURK-COSE Congress would be a successful and productive congress.

V. International Turkic World Science and Engineering Congress, which is an important indicator of science and cooperation, lasted for three days with an intense participation. In the congress where 11 parallel sessions were held, 103 from Türkiye and 19 different countries (Germany, Azerbaijan, Australia, Belgium, Algeria, India, Netherlands, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Sudan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan) A total of 210 papers were presented, 107 in total.
