As part of the active academic advising initiative, an introductory and informative meeting was held to familiarize students with academic processes and to strengthen communication between advisors and students.
During the meeting, information was provided on the functioning of the active advising system, as well as the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits for courses, learning outcomes, and assessment and evaluation criteria within the framework of the Bologna Process. Furthermore, topics such as student exchange programs, horizontal and vertical transfers, double major and minor degree opportunities, student organizations, and the rights and responsibilities of students were discussed. Participants were also briefed on the university’s digital communication channels, academic and administrative application procedures, and the regulations and directives governing education and instruction.
The meeting, which offered students the opportunity to get to know one another and share their views and expectations regarding academic processes, concluded following a Q&A session and a mutual exchange of feedback.
