As the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, we took our students to the GrowTech International Agricultural Fair, one of the most important meeting points of the agricultural sector. This fair, organized in Antalya, brings together participants from all over the world in the fields of agricultural technologies, innovative solutions and sustainability. Students who attended the fair as part of the technical tour had the opportunity to examine the latest innovations and modern technological solutions in the agricultural sector on site. They received one-on-one information from participants, especially on topics such as smart agricultural practices, greenhouse technologies, seeding and fertilization systems.

Faculty officials emphasized that such technical tours are extremely important in terms of students combining their theoretical knowledge with practice. Students also stated that they learned a lot from the fair and had an inspiring experience in terms of their profession.

While the GrowTech International Agricultural Fair attracted attention with more than 600 participants from 26 countries, this year, digital agricultural technologies in particular received great attention. Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University students also returned from the fair with increased knowledge on agricultural technologies of the future. After the technical tour, students stated that they will share their experiences with their other friends at an event to be organized within the faculty.
