2026-2027 Faculty Academic General Assembly Meeting

The Academic General Assembly Meeting of the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies was held to evaluate the Faculty's educational, research and development, academic, and administrative activities; to review ongoing work; to address challenges encountered; and to consider views and suggestions regarding the Faculty's future activities.

The meeting was attended by our University Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Uslu, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ersin Aydın, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şekeroğlu, Vice-Deans Prof. Dr. Halil Toktay and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ünal, and the Faculty's academic staff.

Topics addressed at the meeting included a general assessment of the Faculty's educational and academic activities, alongside the collection of views and suggestions from the academic staff. Evaluations were conducted regarding the improvement of educational quality, support for students' academic and professional development, the enhancement of scientific research and publication activities, and the development of academic collaborations. Furthermore, information was exchanged regarding the work currently being carried out by the academic staff, and discussions were held concerning the Faculty's current status, needs, and planned future activities. Challenges faced by the academic staff and areas requiring improvement were assessed, and views were exchanged on potential solutions.
