Among more than 200,000 scientists ranked in the top 2% worldwide across 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields by leading experts, data were evaluated based on variables such as scientific h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, citation count, author rank and number, and self-citation ratio. The resulting ranking was published in two categories—Annual Impact and Career-Long Impact—on the Elsevier database.

According to the 2024 data, our university is proudly represented in the list by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hasan Uslu, and our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Murat Barut, along with Prof. Dr. Adnan Görür, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sarıdemir, Prof. Dr. Yasin Kabalcı, Prof. Dr. Murat Gökçek, and Prof. Dr. Ümit Atıcı.
