Our department graduates can do analysis / synthesis and designs regarding environmental issues and requirements, keep up with the developments in science and technology and improve them, have application, business and management skills, do national and international jobs, contribute to the country's development, and be successful in communication, are creative and self-confident and have professional and ethical responsibility and renew themselves constantly. When they graduate, they have the opportunity to work in many institutions such as Ministry of Environment and Urban Development, Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, Provincial Directorates attached to the Ministry, Municipalities, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, Ministry of Transport, Maritime and Communications, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, ILBANK, Ministry of Development, Development Agencies, Special Provincial Administrations, Turkey Statistical Institute, BOTAS, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), TUBITAK, universities, factories, businesses that have Environmental Management Unit, Solid Waste Landfills and Recycling Facilities, Environmental Consulting and Engineering Centres  and non-governmental organizations. Working groups in our department carry out projects supported by EU (Erasmus +), Ministry of Development, TUBITAK and Ömer Halisdemir University Scientific and Technological Research Projects.

Our graduates are capable of doing research and development and designs in the field of electrical and electronics engineering and they serve as competent engineers in production, marketing, after-sales services and project development, and take responsibility.  When they graduate, our students serve as competent engineers at Small & Medium Sized Enterprises, large companies and multinational companies operating in the fields of communication systems, integrated systems, industrial control and automation applications, power generation and distribution systems and defence electronics.

Our graduates take part in various sub-sectors of the food industry and at each stage of the production-consumption chain. They can take place in production, distribution, sales, marketing and purchasing units in food factories, in various audit and oversight firms as auditor, in particular food laboratories as experts and public institutions (Ministry of Development, Turkish Standard Institution, Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock, Ministry of Health). Food Engineering is one of the preferred engineering units due to very large business opportunities of graduates.

Our graduates are capable of doing analysis, design, construction and management in the field of surveying engineering, and take responsibility.  When they graduate, our students serve as competent engineers at base map construction, cadastral surveys, subdivision, subdivision amalgamate works, practices of Article 18 of the Zoning Law, surveying engineering offices, highways, subways, rail transport, power transmission lines, tunnels, viaducts, bridges, dams, ports, pipelines, excavation work and infrastructure construction companies, and also, cadastral offices, ILBANK, State Hydraulic Works, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Provincial Special Administrations, universities and municipalities and many state institutions.

Our graduates are capable of doing analysis, design, construction and management in the field of civil engineering, and take responsibility.  When they graduate, our students serve as competent engineers at ready-mixed concrete plants, consultancy offices, buildings, highways, tunnels, subways, dams, ports, pipelines, infrastructure projects, construction materials production, sales and marketing, building inspection firms, materials and floor laboratories, prefabricated and steel structure production factories, and also ILBANK, State Hydraulic Works, Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning and Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Provincial Special Administrations, universities and municipalities and many state institutions.

Department of Mechanical Engineering raise Mechanical Engineers who are equipped with the necessary scientific and social skills, are able to follow training at a higher level, have critical thinking and leadership skills at their working environments, can provide multidisciplinary cooperation, have managing skills, and are innovative and capable of producing original solutions. Mechanic industries have a global nature and offer career opportunities in Turkey, Europe and elsewhere. According to their personal interests and preferences, our graduates can work in many areas like research and development, design, production, marketing, after-sales services and project development. When they graduate, our students serve as competent engineers at Small & Medium Sized Enterprises, large companies and multinational companies operating in the fields of manufacturing, energy systems and defence. In addition, they can continue their academic life enrolling master's and doctoral programs of universities in Turkey and abroad.

Our graduates are capable of doing analysis, design, construction and management in the field of mechatronics engineering, and take responsibility.  When they graduate, our students serve as competent engineers at many state institutions such as Mechanical Manufacturing Automation projects, defence industry, universities and municipalities.
