In order to take the necessary precautions and make arrangements in order to facilitate the education life of our students with special needs; The Disabled Student Unit consisting of 12 Academic Members on 17.10.2006 within the framework of the Higher Education Institutions Disabled Persons Counseling and Coordination Regulation prepared by the Higher Education Council and published in the Official Gazette No. ”Was established and started its activities.

In the existing faculty and school buildings where students are studying, ramps and parking spaces where they can easily park their vehicles and enter and exit their buildings have been created, and the toilets inside the buildings have been made suitable for use. In addition, each unit has an elevator, and ease of movement within the building is provided. 

In addition to the existing buildings, the new school buildings, social centers and library buildings that are planned to be built are arranged in a manner that can meet all the needs of our students with special needs during the project phase.

The administration of our university shows the necessary sensitivity regarding the subject, and our students with special needs convey all kinds of obstacles and difficulties they encounter to the special needs student advisors available in each academic unit, and we try to find solutions within the shortest possible time.
