Expressing that our university has the potential to become a “center of excellence” in the agricultural field in our city, especially in the field of digital, rational and smart agricultural technologies, our YÖK President stated that YÖK will support our university in this regard.

YÖK President Erol ÖZVAR shared the following on social media: “As part of our Niğde contacts, we conducted inspections at our university’s Ayhan Şahenk Agricultural Research Application and Research Center, which is the “largest center” among our country’s universities in terms of plant and animal agriculture applications and research. Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, which is the first university to establish a digital agriculture department, also has a robotic milking center, and hygienic milk production is carried out without human contact. The university brings together sector representatives with our students. "Modern agricultural training is also provided to farmers in the region. Our universities are one of the most important dynamics of regional and local development. We are very pleased to see the proof of this here today," he said.
