“Introduction of Nigde Omer Halisdemir University Faculty of Agricultural and Technology Sciences”
Located within the campus area of ??Nigde Omer Halisdemir University, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies is a faculty that provides 100% English education and consists of four departments and fourteen major branches. The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies has a 260-acre application area within the Nigde Omer Halisdemir University Campus. The faculty introduction and tour, which was held with the speeches of our Dr. Lecturer Zeynep Unal and Res. Asst. Furkan Bas, was carried out. Within the scope of this tour, the interior areas of our Faculty, classrooms, study halls, library, laboratories and application areas were explained in detail. The greenhouses within the application areas and the studies carried out in the open application areas of the application area and their details were explained.
“Young Office Event and Cafe Meeting”
Within the scope of the University Student Societies Cooperation and Support Program, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports University Program, European club directors and students and club directors from Middle East Technical University, Konya Food and Agriculture University, Konya Selçuk University, Istanbul Technical University and Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University were brought together at the Young Office located on our campus, and a chat meeting was held to talk, exchange ideas, share information and establish communication, and our culture was introduced to the guest directors. During the event, the history of Turkish coffee was explained and the preparation of Turkish coffee was taught and tested by the guests. In the evening of the event, the participants gathered at the Arabica Cafe and a chat and socializing meeting was held.
“Gumusler Monastery, Yesilburc Church Mosque and Roman Pool Tour”
In this tour held on 06.03.2025, IAAS Europe directors and students from Middle East Technical University, Konya Food and Agriculture University, Konya Selcuk University, Istanbul Technical University and Nigde Omer Halisdemir University toured Gumusler Monastery and provided historical information about Gumusler Monastery. The event continued with a visit to Yesilburc Church and rest in Yesilburc village, then a visit to the Roman Pool and its history was explained.
“Program closing”
The program ended on 06.03.2025 within the borders of Nigde Province with a tour of Gumusler Monastery, Yesilburc Church and Roman Pool.
