The sixth week of the “Speaking Club” activity, which is planned to be held regularly every week at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, was held at our faculty. Our vice dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep ÜNAL, our research assistants, administrative staff and students participated in the event.
In this event, which aims to improve our students' foreign language skills, the participants had the opportunity to practice English in a fun and educational environment. In the Speaking Club event, both our students studying in the preparatory class and our students in the undergraduate program came together. This diversity allows students at different levels to learn from each other, while also contributing to the establishment of social bonds between students. The Speaking Club event, which is planned to be organized jointly with a different agricultural club every week, aims to keep the students' interest dynamic with changing concepts each time.
In the first part of the third week, the process of students getting to know each other took place by making one-minute self-introduction speeches in pairs, and the second event was provided by all students participating by playing "Wolf, Villager, Doctor". At the end of the event, feedback was received from students and participants, and it was aimed to further increase the interest in Speaking Club meetings each week.
