As the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies of Nigde Omer Halisdemir University, the 3rd week seminar was organized in the conference hall of our faculty on March 26, 2025 at 11:30 within the scope of "Academic Development Seminars".

In this context, Res. Asst. Furkan BAŞ from the Department of Biosystems Engineering, Agricultural Energy Systems of our faculty, made a presentation titled "Conversion of Agricultural Waste into Energy". The presentation focused on the re-evaluation of agricultural wastes, their role and importance in sustainable agricultural practices. In addition, detailed information was provided about different types of agricultural wastes and the processes of their conversion into different products.

At the end of the seminar, the participants asked various questions about agricultural waste management, and the program closed after the Q&A session.

The program ended with our Dean Vice Assoc. Prof. Zeynep ÜNAL pesenting a certificate of appreciation to Res. Asst. Furkan BAŞ for his presentation.
