The “Pruning Training on Fruit Trees” organized by the Niğde Provincial Directorate of National Education Public Education Center, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies and Ayhan Şahenk Research and Application Center Farmer Education Coordinatorship was successfully completed. The certificate distribution ceremony organized for the participants at the end of the training was held with intense participation.

The training program, organized to increase the knowledge and skills of farmers and to increase fruit yield and quality, lasted approximately 48 hours with theoretical and practical lessons. In the training, which was carried out under the guidance of agricultural engineers who are experts in their fields, many topics were discussed, from pruning techniques to seasonal applications.

The ceremony was attended by the Provincial Public Education Center Director, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, instructors and trainees. Faculty officials emphasized the importance of the training for sustainable agriculture and quality production, and expressed their satisfaction with the interest shown by farmers and students in such programs.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were presented to the trainees who successfully completed the training. The participants expressed that they were extremely satisfied with the training process.

Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şekeroğlu stated that similar trainings will continue in the coming periods.
