The presentation series titled “IAAS and Digital Agriculture Vision” of the project named DIJI IAAS, in collaboration with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, IAAS Niğde Local Committee and Adana Çukurova University, Faculty of Agriculture, was held on 25/04/2025 at Adana Çukurova University.

The event began with the opening speech of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tunahan ERDEM, faculty member of the Faculty of Agriculture at Çukurova University in Adana. In his speeches, he emphasized the importance of digitalization in the agricultural sector, the role of international student communities in the digitalization process, and the need to support such communities.

In the program, IAAS Niğde Club President Serhat Hazar OZAN gave a presentation that provided information about the history of IAAS, the countries where it is active, its goals and objectives. The IAAS management structure and the IAAS projects carried out in Niğde, Turkey and the world were introduced by IAAS Europe Director Metehan ÜSTÜNDAĞ. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep ÜNAL gave an informative presentation on digital agriculture, precision agriculture, smart agriculture, the role of artificial intelligence in digital agriculture and studies carried out in the field of digital agriculture. The program ended with the contributions of the participants and a Q&A session. In addition, within the scope of this program, meetings were held regarding the establishment of an IAAS committee at Adana Çukurova University.
