Doğuş Foundation Visit Event

Officials from the Doğuş Foundation, the founder of our Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, visited our Faculty on February 18, 2026.

During this visit, conducted by representatives of the Foundation, which made significant contributions to the establishment process of our Faculty, the academic and physical infrastructure of our Faculty was examined on-site, and information was shared about the ongoing education, research, and application activities.

Within the framework of the visit program;

• The laboratories within the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences were toured, and information was provided about the existing equipment infrastructure, ongoing research projects, and applied training activities.

• Academic staff provided information about laboratory work, research capacity, and student applications.

• The Ayhan Şahenk Agricultural Application and Research Center was visited, and the animal production activities, application areas, and infrastructure facilities carried out within the center were examined on-site.

• Technical information about the ongoing work was shared during a tour of the cattle farming unit and related application areas.

During the visit, the current situation of our Faculty, its development goals, plans for strengthening its research infrastructure, and cooperation opportunities were evaluated. The Foundation officials expressed their satisfaction with the physical and academic development of our Faculty, and a mutual exchange of views took place. At the end of the program, the Foundation representatives were thanked for their visit.
