The Iftar dinner organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies on February 27, 2026, was held to strengthen the feelings of unity, togetherness, and solidarity among students, academic staff, and administrative staff in the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. The event aimed to increase the sense of institutional belonging by bringing faculty members together at the same table.
The event saw a large turnout from faculty students, academic staff, administrative staff, and managers. The gathering of participants from different units positively supported intra-faculty communication and social interaction.
The Iftar dinner organization was carried out under the coordination of the faculty administration. The Şahenk Foundation, which sponsored the event, contributed to the smooth and orderly execution of the organization with its support. Thanks to the foundation's support, a carefully prepared Iftar program was offered to the participants.
The program began with the welcoming of the participants, and the breaking of the fast was celebrated with the call to prayer. Following the Iftar dinner, a warm atmosphere of conversation developed among the participants, strengthening social bonds among faculty members. The organized iftar event contributed to social cohesion within the faculty and was a meaningful event reflecting the spirit of sharing and solidarity of Ramadan. Considering the satisfaction of the participants, it is believed that organizing similar social events in the future would be beneficial.
