Agricultural Research and Education Cooperation Discussions Held Between Kazakhstan and Turkey

Academicians from the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), one of Kazakhstan's leading higher education institutions, visited the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University to evaluate opportunities for educational, research, and academic cooperation between the two institutions. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Zamanbekov Nurtleu, Dr. Boranbayeva Karlygash, Dr. Myrzhiyeva Assem, Prof. Dr. Kobdikova Nurzila, and Sara Koibagarova from KazNARU. The delegation met with the faculty administration and academicians to exchange views on areas of collaboration. The parties evaluated cooperation opportunities, particularly in developing international research projects, preparing joint scientific publications, postgraduate student exchange programs, and increasing academic staff mobility. During the visit, the KazNARU delegation was briefed on the educational and research infrastructure of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies. The delegation also inspected the faculty laboratories, application areas, and research facilities, receiving detailed information about the ongoing scientific studies. At the end of the meeting, both institutions emphasized their mutual goodwill and commitment to developing cooperation and implementing concrete joint projects in line with their internationalization goals. The discussions are expected to make significant contributions to strengthening academic relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan and increasing scientific cooperation in the field of agriculture.
