The "Integrated Agronomic Biofortification Strategies for Sustainable Agriculture" Program Was Held
A scientific event titled "Integrated Agronomic Biofortification Strategies for Sustainable Agriculture" was held at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. As part of the event, Prof. Dr. Mubshar Husain gave a presentation on integrated agronomic biofortification strategies in sustainable agriculture.
The presentation evaluated methods of nutrient enrichment in plant production, the importance of micronutrients for plant and human health, and applications aimed at increasing yield and quality in light of scientific data. Furthermore, fertilization management, soil-plant relationships, and the effects of appropriate agricultural techniques on biofortification were discussed in detail.
In addition, the presentation focused on reducing environmental impacts, preserving soil fertility, and developing production models adapted to climate change in sustainable agricultural systems. The biofortification potential of different plant species and varieties, and strategies for increasing quality and nutritional value in agricultural production were explained in detail.
The event continued with further activities... During the question-and-answer session, evaluations were made regarding biofortification applications and sustainable agriculture approaches in line with the questions posed by the participants. The program concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mubshar Husain by Prof. Dr. Mustafa AVCI, Head of the Department of Plant Production and Technologies at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies.
