Social and Cultural Facilities

Besides educational and scientific studies, Nigde Omer Halisdemir University attaches great importance to cultural and social activities with an eye to creating an opportunity for students to improve themselves not only in their field of education but also in social and cultural fields.

While contributing to students’ skills and knowledge on current issues , researches, analysis, interpretation and presentation in terms of carrier development , and encouraging their participation into social activities, students are also given chances of improving their individual and social skills.

Social and cultural activities such as conferences, panels, seminars, exhibitions, concerts, plays, festivals and trips are organised in Nigde Omer Halisdemir University to enable students to spend their spare time according to their personel interests, to get students adopt new recreational habits and new personel interests, to maket hem follow and participate to activities regarding fine arts. Moreover, “Spring Festivals” are organized annually .

Student clubs are really active to improve their social and cultural interests and organize several activities during the academic year . Students are free to become a member of and join the activities of the clubs and the students can also take the responsibilities of these clubs if they like.
