Nigde Omer Halisdemir University pays attention to safety and health of its students and staff alike. The insurance system related to health issues work in different ways; the students whose parents are protected by any insurance policy because of their occupations are covered by this insurance. These students can benefit from any kind of treatment free of charge. The students who do not have any insurance policies are covered by the Directorate of Health. The foreign and exchange students are required to have their own insurance policies. If they do not have they can make some payment (approx. 30 € per month) to Directorate of Health and they can start their own policies in order to benefit health services.
