Course Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental concepts, methods, and application areas of artificial intelligence (AI); to teach machine learning algorithms from both theoretical and practical perspectives; and to enable them to develop solutions to real-world problems using artificial intelligence approaches.
Brief Content of the Course
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence: Definitions, history, and application areas; Expert systems and knowledge-based systems; Unsupervised learning: Clustering and dimensionality reduction methods (K-Means, PCA).
