Course Objective
To convey the role of local governments in promoting sports by explaining the understanding and development of local government, the reasons for the existence and duties of local governments within the framework of the legislation in Turkey.
Brief Content of the Course
Explanation, development and models of the union concepts of municipalities, special provincial administrations, villages and local government in Turkey; relations and supervision of local governments with the central government, sharing of powers and duties, financial structures; developments in local government legislation and sportive duties of local governments.
