Course Objective
Teaching of cleaner production concepts and industrial and commercial sectors applications.
Brief Content of the Course
The historical development of waste management, cleaner production concept and fundamentals of cleaner production; cleaner production tools (waste reduction measures, life cycle analysis), development of cleaner production plans and programs, identification and evaluation of cleaner production alternatives; analysis of cleaner production strategies, implementation methodology of sustainable cleaner production, case studies of successful implementation of cleaner production from small and medium scale industries, agriculture, etc.
