Course Objective
The course aims to provide students with the skills to operate wastewater treatment plants and to offer alternative solutions to opertation problems.
Brief Content of the Course
Sampling and control of wastewater; Characteristics of wastewater; Treatment stages; Treatment units; Operating problems and their solution methods encountered in screens, sand traps, septic tanks, settling tanks, trickling filters, rotating biological reactors, activated sludge systems, lagoons, pumping stations, anaerobic digesters and thickeners; Records and reports. The course focuses on the expectations of sustainability and social responsibility. Ders, sürdürülebilirlik ve sosyal sorumluluğun gerektirdiği beklentiler üzerine odaklanmaktadır.
