1To be able to understand the general characteristics of important microorganisms in dentistry, their relationship with the host, pathogenesis mechanisms and transmission routes.
2To be able to understand the diagnosis, treatment and prevention methods of infections caused by important microorganisms in dentistry.
3Ability to apply biosafety rules, sterilization, disinfection and antisepsis in dental practice.
4Ability to use appropriate antimicrobial agents in the treatment of important infections in dentistry.
5Ability to choose appropriate test methods in laboratory diagnosis of important infections in dentistry.
6Ability to understand immune response mechanisms against important infections in dentistry.
7Ability to understand the mechanisms of immunotolerance, autoimmunity, hypersensitivity, immunodeficiency, immunization.
