Course Objective
The purpose of the Measurement and Evaluation in Education course is to ensure that prospective teachers acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to accurately and effectively measure and evaluate student success in the educational process.
Brief Content of the Course
The place and importance of measurement and evaluation in education, basic concepts related to measurement and evaluation, psychometric properties of measurement tools (reliability, validity, usability), measurement tools and their properties used in education, test preparation stages, preparing questions appropriate to the purpose of the test, basic statistical operations on measurement results, item analysis, evaluating learning outcomes and grading.
