Course Objective
To introduce students to the sub-branches of linguistics such as syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse analysis and neurolinguistics and help them to understand and discuss language accordingly.
Brief Content of the Course
This course is a continuation of linguistics I and covers such branches of linguistics as syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, and neurolinguistics. Furthermore, it provides student teachers of English language with some brief knowledge of sign language.
