Course Objective
The main purpose of Curriculum Theories course is to present alternative models based on curriculum theory. With Curriculum Theories course, it is aimed to present alternative models other than the existing curriculum models to the students and to discuss the reflections of these models on the curriculum.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic concepts of curriculum, Progressive education paradigm, Learner-centered curriculum, Community-centered curriculum, Knowledge-centered curriculum, Reflections of curriculum models on existing curricula.
