Course Objective
This course aims to provide pre-service science teachers with the basic knowledge and skills related to the nature, practices and teaching of science concepts.
Brief Content of the Course
The meaning of science learning and teaching; the aim and basic principles of science education; history of science teaching; Learning and teaching reflections of their approaches to science teaching; basic skills in science teaching; classroom practice examples; Current trends and problems in science teaching; components of effective science teaching; view science teaching from social, cultural and economic perspectives.
