Brief Content of the Course
The importance and purpose of the laboratory in science education; the place of laboratory studies in the Science program; Safety precautions to be applied and taken in the laboratory: recognition of test materials, tools and equipment, using according to safety rules and guides; the place and use of technology in the laboratory, planning, conducting and reporting various experiments based on different laboratory approaches in accordance with the nature of physics, chemistry, biology, environment, earth science subjects included in the 5th and 6th grade Science curriculum; experimenting with simple and inexpensive materials; importance of scientific process skills in experiments; Approaches to be used to evaluate student performance (knowledge, skills, attitude-value) in experiments
