1To be able to define scientific research and its types.
2To be able to define the ethical principles required in clinical research according to the Declaration of Helsinki, to identify violations, and to apply these principles.
3To have knowledge about formulating a research question, determining the study population, and sampling and randomization methods.
4To have knowledge about variables, errors, and confounding factors in scientific research.
5To have knowledge about literature review and research planning, and to be able to design a scientific research study.
6To have knowledge about obtaining ethics committee approval for scientific research and to be able to prepare an ethics committee application file.
7To know the importance of the informed consent form and the details of its preparation.
8To know the importance of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork in conducting scientific research as a principal investigator or researcher.
9To know and apply effective presentation techniques.
10To follow current issues related to scientific research methods.
