Course Objective
The planning, design, and production of informational systems for both indoor and outdoor environments, utilizing print-based, digital, or three-dimensional tools. This encompasses the creation of user manuals, statistical data presentations, traffic signs, wayfinding systems in public spaces, airports, and hospitals, warning signs, maps, and urban plans, all developed in accordance with the principles of graphic design
Brief Content of the Course
This course aims to raise awareness about information design and to develop students’ perspectives accordingly. By examining informational systems, it addresses the planning, design, and presentation of graphic design elements—such as text, line, image, color, motion, space, sound, and interactivity—in both natural and built environments, across print and digital media. Furthermore, it emphasizes the creation of sustainability-themed informational graphics through data visualization, infographic design, and typographic studies
