Course Objective
A theory of art arises from efforts and efforts to explain why objects or events are considered art. Art theories consist of suggestions that reveal only the features shared by artworks. When examining a work of art, it can be used in plastic arts such as painting, sculpture and architecture, literary arts such as novels, poetry and essays, or even theater, cinema, fashion design, etc. When analyzing or criticizing a work of art, in any branch of art, it is generally examined under two items. One is the spiritual aspect of art, such as subject, content, style. The other is composition, harmony, harmony etc. As is the shape direction. It aims to explain and apply aesthetic theories to students.
Brief Content of the Course
Thoughts and comments on the arts, which are regarded as one of the leading achievements in giving a new meaning to life and in the effort to recognise oneself, will be given and information about the theories will be given. This course, which aims to involve students in the universal dimension of art, also emphasises the impossibility of an art activity without a receptor. After a general overview, the arts discussed in the light of the views of philosophers will be tried to be conveyed in a concise and understandable manner.
