Course Objective
The objective of the course is to understand the importance of industrial control and automation systems, to recognize the types and functions of field elements, to understand the operation of sensors and transducers used in industrial control and automation systems and to know the differences between sensors.
Brief Content of the Course
Sensors and transducers, temperature sensors, position sensors, proximity switches, flow sensors, force and pressure sensors, level measurement sensors, sound sensors and optical sensors.
