Course Objective
This course aims to teach students the scope of the nursing profession, its roles and responsibilities, and the basic principles and concepts of the nursing profession.
Brief Content of the Course
This course covers topics such as the definition of the nursing profession, the roles and responsibilities of nurses, nursing education, as well as basic nursing concepts such as human, environment, health/disease, communication, caring and ethics, changing and developing nursing roles, international nursing examples, evidence-based nursing, and career planning in nursing.
