Course Objective
This course aims to teach the fundamental geodetic concepts using hands on numerical applications.
Brief Content of the Course
Leveling network adjustment; Horizontal network adjustment; Reliability analysis and outlier detection tests; GPS network adjustment and transformation between ITRF and ED50 geodetic datum; Grid-zones transformation; Calculation of a map sheet?s corners; Determination of local geoid by GPS-leveling method, The concept of sustainability and the contribution of Geodesic Applications to the sustainability and development.
