Course Objective
The aim of this course is to enable the student to identify the difference between gender and sex, and to analyse visual, written and oral constructions of gender in selected texts and contexts in relation to the development of gender theories, identity, ideology and feminism.
Brief Content of the Course
In this course, after an introduction to gender, representations of gender in selected written and oral texts are analysed and discussed in relation to gender theories and practices.
