Course Objective
The aim of this course is to equip prospective teachers with the fundamental principles, strategies, and approaches necessary for maintaining order and creating an effective learning environment in the classroom. It also aims to develop skills in managing classroom interactions and preventing or handling undesired student behaviors.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition and importance of classroom management; physical arrangement of the classroom; communication and interaction in the classroom; classroom rules and routines; factors influencing student behavior; undesired behaviors and coping strategies; teacher leadership; different approaches and models in classroom management; strategies for effective classroom management; effective use of instructional time.
