1Knows the properties of rocks and materials.
2Can conduct rock mechanics experiments in the laboratory and in the field.
3Can determine rock behavior during the excavation of underground cavities and their protection, and takes the necessary precautions.
4Conducts the necessary studies for the excavation of foundations for surface structures to be constructed in rock and their protection.
5Determines the effects and boundaries of underground cavities on the surface and takes the necessary precautions.
6Has preliminary knowledge of vocational courses such as fortification, tunneling, and well courses.
