Course Objective
During operations in mineral processing techniques to obtain a minimum of waste, the types of waste released, features and reviews
Brief Content of the Course
Introduction to the affected environments due to pollution, the environmental impact of mining and mineral processing activities; residual general characteristics of solid wastes, liquid wastes, waste gas, waste storage and environmental factors, design criteria for waste dams, construction of dams and their properties Waste; evaluation of the different enrichment plant tailings ; thermal power plant waste, and evaluation; Gold-Silver mining facilities and properties of wastes. In addition, to comprehend the concept of sustainability and its application domains for mining sector. Understanding the concept of sustainability and its relationship with other related concepts (environment, etc.).
