Course Objective
Teaching of number systems. logic gates, truth understand diagrams and electrical properties. Boolean algebra and give an ability to design digital circuits using Karnaugh maps. United logic circuits, arithmetic circuits, counters, registers, ability to give multivibrator and the flip-flop circuits. To understand the analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters.
Brief Content of the Course
Number systems, logic gates, truth tables, and electrical properties, Boolean algebra and Karnaugh maps and digital circuit design and simplification, encoders, decoders, multiplexers, data distributors, adders, subtractors, comparators, multivibrators, and flip-flops with the digital circuit design, asynchronous and synchronous counters, registers and their characteristics, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters.
