Course Objective
.The general introduction of the baglama instrument aims to help people comprehend the place and importance of the baglama in school music education and to create a school instrument repertoire.
Brief Content of the Course
Baglama: A general introduction to the baglama instrument, its role and importance in music school education, various tunings and commonly used tunings for the baglama. The correct sitting and holding position with the baglama, right and left hand grips. The sound system of folk music and the frets used on the baglama. Information on the makams (usuals), particularly Uşşak and Hüseyni, which are frequently used in folk music. Playing melodies related to other makams, starting with easy and simple melodies in these makams. Playing melodies written in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10-time usuls simultaneously with simple melodies and commonly used makams. Melodies that can be used in music school education, the ability to play melodies in groups, and the use of middle and upper strings on the baglama.
