Course Objective
The aim of this course is to educate and raise awareness of students in the field of Turkish Music and Makam Knowledge and to bring them to the point of professional performance in the context of solfege and sey in the field of Turkish Music.
Brief Content of the Course
In this course, topics such as Turkish music makam and progression, the flavors and scales that make up makams, short-time usuls will be covered, and solfege exercises will be conducted for vocal and non-vocal pieces in simple makams.
