Course Objective
This course aims to teach the necessary materials for optician practices in the most basic sense and to prepare the learner about this material and contact lenses.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic issues such as the properties of the materials used in opticians, the use of lenses, eyeglasses frames and intraocular lenses according to the raw materials produced are discussed. In addition, in this course, the development of contact lenses, the basic properties sought in these lenses, the optical properties of contact lenses, the purpose of use, the relationship between these lenses and the cornea, the types of contact lenses used, the rules to be followed in the use of these lenses, and the recognition of the properties of the lenses in the lens prescription. Information about the subjects will be given.
