Course Objective
The Train Mechanics course aims to learn the motion and Newton's laws in physics as applied in train movements, understand the friction forces in train movements, make power calculations by explaining the movement phases of the train and introduce the mechanical systems in trains.
Brief Content of the Course
Characteristics of the rail system tools. Resistances encountered by the means of the rail system while driving. Power limiting factors. According to the forces of different types of vehicles and road conditions, load calculations will be drawn. Calculation of the duration of the rail system navigational tools.
